Join Austin's largest Independence Day celebration on July 4 at Auditorium Shores and the Long Center. The Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks includes patriotic music by the Austin Symphony with a grand finale fireworks display over Lady Bird Lake. Witness the action from the Long Center or from the South First Street Bridge. Get there early and leave the chairs at home – this is a popular spot. Other bridge viewing options: Congress Bridge and Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge.


Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival Head to the Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival on July 4 for live music, shopping, dining and fireworks. Bring the whole family to enjoy backyard games and local live music, then finish out the evening with a spectacular firework show.


Willie Nelson's 4th Of July Picnic Austin's beloved icon Willie Nelson, who created this annual event in 1972, is bringing a star-studded lineup to Q2 Stadium, home of Austin FC for his annual picnic and fireworks show. The event will feature Willie Nelson & Family, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Tyler Childers, Brothers Osborne, Midland, Charley Crockett, Allison Russell, Particle Kid, Steve Earle & the Dukes, and Asleep at the Wheel.


The parade will take place Monday July 4, 2022 at 8:30 AM. It will be followed by a reception at Lakeway Activity Center. Independence Day is the City’s biggest celebration of the year! Come and enjoy Lakeway’s famous old-fashioned July 4th Celebration. We have activities for the whole family. This year, we're including fireworks Friday evening, our parade on Saturday morning and Swim Center activities throughout the weekend.






Rock Rock Texas knows how to celebrate Independence Day! We will celebrate Monday, July 4, 2022 with a full day of patriotic festivities including parade, festival, carnival, music and fireworks.


Annual Sertoma Independence Day Parade The 2022 Annual Sertoma Independence Day Parade is bigger and better than ever and will once again feature giant helium and cold air inflatables, community groups and patriotic spirit. This parade will take place on the 1.5 mile route along Mays Street between Mays Crossing and Highway 79. The parade will start at 8:30am to beat the heat so arrive early to find the best seat to watch and celebrate!



This FREE, family-friendly celebration of our nation will feature live music, local vendors and food trucks, kids’ activities, a fireworks show, and more! Weather permitting. Live music kicks off with Micah Marcos before the Steph Cash Band rocks the stage. David Beck's Tejano Weekend will bring their unique Tejano sound to the stage before Bri Bagwell caps off the evening. Following the live music, attendees can enjoy the City's largest fireworks show of the year.



AT AQUABOOM, THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERONE!


Three parades, an arts and crafts show, a patriotic costume contest, a classic car show, live music and entertainment, charity dinners, a golf tournament, a pageant, a poker run, horseshoe and washer tournaments, street dances, a rubber ducky race.....and not to mention, FIREWORKS!




The holiday also kicks off the summer horse racing season at the Gillespie County Fairgrounds.


One of the area's top attractions, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, is a popular destination for the holiday weekend. You will not be able to enter the park or use the trails without an advance reservation. If you do not have a reservation and the park has sold out, please explore one of these other great outdoor areas in Fredericksburg.

It's also summer concert season at multiple music venues in the Fredericksburg area.
